PET ADOPTION in Los Angeles
The Mar Vista Animal Medical Center is proud to assist several animal adoption groups.

DOGS WITHOUT BORDERS Dogs Without Borders relies soley on foster homes. They currently rescue most dogs from local shelters and strays, but sometimes they rescue dogs from as far away as Taiwan! They believe a dog is a dog no matter where it's from.

LABS AND BUDDIES RESCUE Labs and Buddies is a no-kill rescue group specializing in the adoption of black dogs (though they currently place dogs of other colors as well). Adoption sites are subject to change.

MUCH LOVE RESCUE Both dogs and cats are lovingly placed with new parents by Much Love Rescue. Charity events for humans as well as their animal friends are periodically sponsored. Adoption shows take place weekly on both Saturdays and Sundays.

PERFECT PET RESCUE Perfect Pet Rescue specializes in the adoption and rescue of small breed dogs. Mobile adoption shows are held Saturdays in Santa Monica and Sundays at the West Hollywood PetCo.

WESTSIDE GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE OF LOS ANGELES This rescue group is commited to the rescue and placement of German Shepherd dogs from high-kill shelters into loving local homes. Dogs are shown by appointment.

VOICE FOR THE ANIMALS FOUNDATION Voice For the Animals is committed to finding homes for dogs and cats in the Westside community. Pet showings are held Sundays 9:30 AM - 1 PM at the Pacific Palisades Farmer’s Market (dogs and cats) and at the West Hollywood PetCo on the corner of Doheney and Santa Monica Blvd. 12 noon - 4 PM every Saturday (cats only).
