Flurbiprofen is an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory used both orally, as eye drops and in pain relief lotions and creams. Four cats in two separate households have been accidentally poisoned by licking the lotion off human skin where it was applied. This seemingly small amount of medication is enough to be hazardous. If you use these products, please take care to prevent exposure of pets to the medication.

Knowing how to read a dog or cat's body language may be the difference between a serious bite wound and healthy pet friendship. Not only to children misinterpret pet behavior and communication but parents do as well. Social media is full of "cute" photos and video of toddlers taking toys or food from dogs or surprising a sleeping pet.
