Our Hospital Is Now Mask Optional

Covid-19 is still "out there," but as more people have been vaccinated (and boosted), the number of cases and hospitalizations are much lower than they were a year or two ago. The indoors of our animal hospital is now mask optional, which means each person can decide if they want to wear a facemask or not.

Solensia Is Now Available in the US, and We Have It

Solensia

Solensia is a new treatment for feline arthritis but it isn't just a pain reliever; it is a monoclonal antibody acting against nerve sensitivity. It is able to disrupt chronic pain without side effects to the liver or kidney.

This treatment has been described as a game-changer in Europe where it is has been available for some time.

90% of cats over age 12 have signs of arthritis but most pet owners don't really notice.

Is your older cat having problems with stairs, jumping up or down from surfaces? Not sure? Find out here:

One monthly injection can rejuvenate your senior cat.

CAT ADOPTION AVAILABLE NOW

We have come into a group of abandoned cats from a rescue group no longer able to house them. If you have been considering the pitter patter of little paws for your home, we have several contenders for your affection. Cats are spayed/neutered, felv/fiv negative, and vaccinated. Very much ready to become family members.

WE HAVE A NEW FLOOR!

We loved our sparkly blue floor when it went in during the 2000 remodel of the hospital but some things were not built to last forever. We have installed a fresh faux stone tile floor which was created to withstand not only all the foot and paw traffic of the hospital but all the near constant mopping and disinfection. We expect it to be liberally urinated on by our canine population as a sort of christening and are fully prepared for that.

We welcome you to check it out.
